Vodka production process
Vodka is a colorless drink that contains water and ethanol, which is produced from a process of fermentation of substances such as tubers, grains, molasses and many other substances in insignificant quantities, such as flavors and impurities, which undergo a rigid process of distillation (or in some cases multiple distillations) in order to leave the drink with maximum purity.
Vodka's alcohol concentration varies from 35 to 50% by volume, depending on the laws imposed by the country's government.
Vodka Production Process
The vodka production process is a complex, multi-step process that involves a variety of ingredients. This process can be summarized in the following steps: grain milling, malting, fermentation, distillation and rectification, filtering and purification, flavoring and bottling.
Vodka flavoring
Flavoring is a procedure used to hide unwanted flavors and odors from vodka, from herbs, fruits, pepper, coffee, etc. This process not only hides the flavors and odors of the vodka, but also adds a different flavor to the pure alcohol, making it more palatable.
Currently, many brands produce vodkas of various flavors, allowing for a greater variety of cocktails.
